Sprint To Deploy LTE

Well, well, looks like WiMAX may be slowly going the way of the dodo. If Bloomberg is to be believed Sprint will be partnered with LightSquared to deploy LTE. According to Bloomberg the 15-year deal with Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) to share network expansion costs and equipment, and to provide high-speed wireless service to the phone company.This may go a long way to giving Sprint better access to more phones as it appears with both Verizon and AT&T tied to LTE that manufacturers will be producing a bulk of their phones to run on LTE.
